The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra is seeking a Principal Horn, with duties on 3rd and 5th horn as well as Wagner tuba.

The audition will take place at the Concert Hall Stockholm on May 18–19, 2026, after personal invitation.

If there are a large number of applicants, a digital screening will take place. This will be communicated after the application deadline. Applicants who have substituted for the advertised position in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, or hold an equivalent position in a comparable orchestra, qualify directly for the audition on site and therefore do not need to submit a video. In the event of a digital screening, the following repertoire will be requested. The video must be recorded in one take, without cuts or editing, and the applicant must be visible in the frame at all times.
